Night Of The Living Kebab (now in TechniBASS) is an experimental collaboration between Messy Mass (Mads Christensen) & Baba Gnohm (Kalle Christensen), two producers from Denmark with a passion for idiosyncratic soundscapes. In the words of the artists, this release is “embodies tunes that will take you on a juvenile journey filled with colours, glitchy breaks, ageless rolling basses and bouncy melodies filled with optimistic hope of brain damage. It is well suited for any situation that calls for a twist of the unorthodox and will leave the listener twirling, spinning and falling over”. For this special re-release of the album we’ve included the previous bonus track “2 Girls 1 Kebab” as well as another track called “Wonk Wagon”. Tanmaurk is the second full-length release from Zealotry Music, a Danish netlabel dedicated to homegrown downtempo and ambient music. Drifting from wobbly organic grooves to glitchy electro-acoustic soundscapes, this compilation meanders through a variety of psychedelic chill out moods. Tanmaurk takes its name from a runic inscription found on the one of the Jelling Stones, monuments erected at the behest of King Harald Bluetooth in the late 10th century to commemorate the Christianization of Denmark. These stones are widely regarded as the birth certificate of the Danish nation.
