Ektoplazm returns with The Forbidden Path Of Olympus by the Greek act Septagram, a collaborative project formed by Dimitri Dark Elf and Mario Darkshire. Taking its name from the mountainous dwelling place of the Olympian gods of the Greek pantheon, this release seethes and sizzles with sinister psychedelic atmospheres and menacing primal energy. Raising the tempo with every track, Septagram ratchets up the tension level until it shatters in a cathartic explosion of supernatural proportions. Mastered by Dark Elf at KGB Labs with artwork by Basilisk featuring polymer clay faces by Jay King.

SoulCraft is the latest project from Mario Sounoglou, a Greek psytrance producer already known for his work as DarkShiRe and Septagram (a collaboration with Dark Elf). The Zen Spirit EP showcases another facet of Mario’s sound: smooth and uplifting morning trance with a psychedelic edge. This release is made by Soul Spirit Records, a new imprint of Helicon Sounds Music, and mastered by Dark Elf at K.G.B. Labz, Athens, Greece.

Simmetry And Kaos marks the debut of Mind Experience, a netlabel founded by A3k and Serial Freak. This global compilation features menacing material from producers based in Greece, Portugal, Switzerland, Israel, and Brazil. Simmetry And Kaos emphasizes the dark side of psychedelic trance without being monotonous–it also contains a couple of excursions into deeper realms of night music, particularly evident in the case of Anakoluth’s eerie closer. Septagram provides one of his strongest offerings yet and the Claw remix of an old Paranoize favourite is not to be missed. This release has been partially mastered by Bash (tracks 6 and 10) and artwork has been provided by D-Sign.
