Vertigo Records is back with ReVertiGo, a special gift to all faithful fans of our label and, we hope, to all new followers as well. We’ve put together a free digital release consisting of exclusive remixes and previously unreleased versions of some of the greatest Goa trance tunes of the last two decades. Firstly we have the second part of “In The Hands Of The Shaman”, a tune by the legendary Trold, the first part of which was featured on their last album Time For Solution released on Vertigo earlier this year. Then Samadhi comes with a powerful crunchy remix of the absolute Goa trance classic “Teleport” by Man With No Name. Finnish duo Rye Smugglers drop their revision of Donna Summer’s groundbreaking disco anthem “I Feel Love” and last but not least we have Nebula Meltdown with an amazing remix of “It’s Just A Ride”, a marvelous work by Voice Of Cod. All these tracks are perfectly mastered by Colin OOOD. We are happy to share these gems with you for free and hope that you will also share it with your friends, neighbors, and pets…

The Psytraveller crew in association with Sun Station Records activated all their contacts to collect cutting edge psychedelic and progressive tracks from all around the globe for Psytraveller Vol. 2. Working on this massive project we have connected with producers from 45 countries who have provided us with some of their best tunes to date. All the material has been carefully selected by our experienced international crew members, resulting in a three part compilation spanning more than five hours of airtime that will take listeners on a proper journey from dusk till dawn. With 52 different artists involved this is probably one of the biggest psytrance compilations to day, and we are glad to offer it to you for free download. We believe that you will discover artists new to you as well as great tunes by some well-known artists as well. Join us for this galaxy’s festival of future soundscapes of psychedelic and progressive trance! Mastered by Makus (Overdream Studio) with artwork by Sören Pawlik.

Yggdrasil

Free Music | Darkpsy, Forest | September 14, 2005 | Released by  | Posted by Basilisk

Yggdrasil
01 :: PhasePhour - Evolution of Space
02 :: Heggmatech - There Is A Place
03 :: Trold - Fruit Juice
04 :: Krussedull - Lord Vader
05 :: Tech Republic - The Incredible Machine
06 :: Phobium - Self Interest
07 :: Loke - Twisted Nerve
08 :: Psy-Fi - Wind

The very first release from Yggdrasil Records is a self-titled promo compilation featuring a range of tracks from Norwegian artists. Aside from known names like PhasePhour, Phobium, and Trold, there are a number of new producers involved. The style of the music can be described as “forest music,” a tradition that extends back to the early days of Hux Flux, Ka-SoL, and Interstellar Overdrive, now continued by labels such as Stone Age and Resonant Earth. These are truly mental sounds for experienced psychonauts!
