Neogoa is proud to present the long-awaited new full-length release by Arronax (Mirza Aljić), one of the earliest psychedelic trance projects from Bosnia and Herzegovina. His alias Arronax was introduced in 2004 when he started to work on his debut album, Dreamcatcher, which was released one year later on Symbiosis Records. Since then he published various tracks on different compilations before deciding to start work on his second album back in 2011. Now, three years later, Crossing The Rubicon is finally released, ushering in a new era of Arronax’s sound and vision. Mastering by Stryder at Beavernest Atop Studios with artwork by Richpa at Neogoa Design.

Woooha, this is f.king awesome!! The best new school Goa album I’ve heard for ages. Beautiful melodies not crossing the line to cheesy Nizhonot sounds.

Last track doesn’t look 120BPM as cover says, looks faster.
To me this is very forgettable and bland goa, about as much as you can be. The production feels lifeless, flat and digital. The leads don’t have that richness and edge that they did on the best goa albums by Cosmosis, X-Dream, D5 or Astral Projection. The compositions are very safe and formulaic.
Just because you want goa trance back does not mean this is the genuine article
IMO Neogoa is the most overrated label on Ektoplazm. they have a low production standard… too muddy, sequenced, and preset-sounding.
as far as new school goa goes, E-Mantra, Khetzal and Crossing Mind absolutely destroy this album.

Nymphomania: next time that you are envious throw it less obvious: it is a skill, too, ya see :-D Haha, funny blaming on Neogoa’s production standards in general no matter what’s your opinion of this album (btw, an opinion that is queer). Or maybe I get it wrong..digging Neogoa stuff is my world, your not in it, it’d bring you down in a minute!
