Into The Picture, his third release on Ektoplazm after Myth Killers and Bedtime Stories, is a melodic full-on journey filled with soaring symphonic melodies, jumpy vibes, and hard rock influences. I wasn’t much of a fan of previous Artcore, but with this release they deliver some refreshing and kick ass creativity. The ‘wah’ sound of those leads is just right, with a little bit of disco/funk expressiveness in all the slight modulations and bends. Yes, it does sound like Infected Mushroom, but IMO we don’t get enough music like their earlier material, which is what this sounds like.
Love it colourful and creative
Totally agree with nympho.
Very nice indeed!
You’ve got a special vibe that reminds me of Infected Mushroom 10 years ago (and that’s a really good thing, considering how much I love their stuff).
Really good stuff!
This is the only album by Artcore I really like, wanted to get into his other stuff but just didnt hit the spot for me like this one.
