Flipkompagniet proudly presents Beyond The Trinocular Parallax, the debut compilation from the Copenhagen-based music collective. These four musicians have been brought together by a shared love for the full spectrum of the forest genre and a common wish to keep the forest spirit alive and evolving. Thus the compilation features everything from strong danceable grooves to surprising rhythmic manipulations and delightfully twisted melodies to dark haunting soundscapes. Trinocular parallax refers to the optical phenomenon where an object seemingly changes position when seen separately by each of the three eyes. Hopefully, this compilation will enable the listener to transcend this apparent paradox and perceive the constantly changing nature of our surroundings with all three eyes at the same time.
