It tells us the epic story of an intergalactic cowboy, lost in space and time. Focused on fast night psytrance, Cyclome infuses his darkpsy with ethnic and acoustic sounds, exploring broken patterns and orchestral moods. Really unique I must tell, and there’s quite good atmosphere here. Yes I do have a problem with classic instruments used in psytrance, but this one is done as properly as it can. Very interesting release.
Brilliant rhythms fusing the simple progressions of the djembe and tarbuka with a kicking base line and very cosmic sound bytes. This is also the cut off point vis a vis bpm where it’s racing fast yet perfect to dance to unlike in that aberration called hi tec. Mesmerizing spaces are created in this gem by Cyclome thanks to keeping the progression relatively straight forward and keeping the layers distinct with a sensitive regard for the spaces within sound. A truly masterful debut.

Oh, man. This is simply wonderful! Original, organic, deep and strange, with twisting melodies and morphing atmospheres – this is what psychedelic music is all about.
