Exelization is Dimitris Panagiotopoulos, a psytrance enthusiast and producer from Athens, Greece. Influenced by his love for both the golden age of Goa Trance and the modern psytrance sound, Dimitris has forged an interesting style that unites the whirling fractal chaos of the Pleiadians with the power and drive of the contemporary South African giants. MindBlast Technology, his debut release, features four tracks filled with hard twilight beats and spiralling Goa melodies. Mastered by DJ Zen, head of Altar Records, with artwork by Gasolin3.

I’m just gonna chime in here and say this EP is on to something. You can hear some of that old school dark goa style here along with the more modern styles. Not very full-on if you are scared of that.
Oh and Contamination is just epic. Great twisted atmosphere and perfect sample use! Definitely check it out.
Can someone tell me what “Twilight” is exactly ?

Twilight is the hard, phat version of full on, developed by South African artists.
IMO the term twilight is for the night, aggressive version of non-cheesy full on made mostly by artists from South Africa (Shift, Phyx…), Portugal (Khopat, Tryon…), Israel (Azax Syndrom, Seroxat..) and many others.

I would love to hear more of this. Contamination is one of those songs that would be irrelevant and useless to try to describe. It has the magic in it that keeps this cosmic psy-trance music in constant evolution! Thanks for that one, incredible, takes you right into the timeless.

The production in these tracks is not pleasing to my ears. It seems thin and lacking definition, muddy. Since the music relies on minimalist repeating melodies, the texture of the sound is very important.
I do like this artist’s melodies and his later work, which has better production.
