Globular, a psychedelic dub project from Bristol, UK, returns with In Formation, an independent release originally conceived as the makings of a new album. Instead, these songs formed a set of their own, and will serve as a nice preview of Globular’s forthcoming full-length debut, A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy, to be released soon. As heard on Colours Of The Brainbow, Globular’s style pays tribute to the giants of the genre, blending deep dubby bass lines with playful atmospheres and catchy vocal hooks. Ott has more breakdowns, and I like it more for more breakdowns, Globular’s music fills the mental space more, makes the thoughts heavier and more crowded
but I disagree that it’s even really like Ott
it’s some very different music, and good/bad are just in our heads anyway
make your own music if you can’t fully appreciate the work of unique individuals :)
