Is this etymology correct?
Funny… I’m listening to Logic Bomb and came across this title, and these guys called themselves… (Koxbox?) Kozvox. Oy vey… I’ll download and come back with a review…
Well, this stuff IS free, so I can’t complain…. The album isn’t bad, but they are far from the legendary (Koxbox) moniker all of us old guys are reminded of. Many of the tracks sound the same, but the formula is kind of unique in it’s dusk-to-dawn stomper approach. Tracks like “Conscious” get my attention, but then they ruin the groove with “Strange Green Men.” BTW, my opinions here mean nothing anyway. I’ll give her 7 out of 10. Good work, (Koxbox?) Kozvox, and Basilisk for staying with us. Merry New Year!!
We would like to state that we do realize the similarities in the name but they are in no way the same. The project started 3 years ago as Cosmic Voice and was then shortened to Kozvox. We are now slowly changing the name over to KZVX to avoid any petty issues. Thanks Tchud Trance for the feedback.
