Amazing album.
The bad thing however is that the FLAC and WAV downloads are fake – they have the signature of MP3 pattern and are severely cut at 18 KHz,(produced from approximately 192 KHz MP3) and the MP3 download is produced from them, adding degradation to the sound quality.
No, the lossless downloads are not fake, they’re just mastered in a way that cuts out those frequencies. Yes, that is a telltale sign of transcoding, but that alone is not proof of anything, particularly not when the music comes straight from the source.
I did the masters myself.
