Jahān-e Qiu (Farsi for “The Universe of Qiu”) is the second album from Qiujan, a Swiss-Persian musician living in Zurich. This album is a collection of 7 long tracks (10–17 min per track) made over the course of three years and, as with his last album Ritual To The Light, an expression of his spirit and the movement of his soul. It’s his way of handling all the different events, impressions, thoughts and feelings which life brings, in order to guide them to the right place inside his personality and to live in peace. The musical approach of Qiujan is to give his passion and love for life a clear shape and to celebrate the inexpressible and uncomprehensible beauty and intensity of being. thanks too. i am happy you like it so much. i have been travelling quite a lot the last 3 years, so everything took a bit longer. i am now settled again and have more time for electronic music; so maybe the next album will not take another 3 years…. i hope
I liked the album, but I gotta say, it did not quite have the same unique feel that Ritual to the Light had. This one seemed more basic, and honestly that disappointed me somewhat, especially given just how much I love and have listened to Ritual to the Light, which is over 70 times (a lot for me, 87 plays for Vibrating in the Stars ties it for 5th). Some songs came close to capturing a Ritual to the Light 2.0 type feel, but only in parts. It just didn’t sound like the mental image I had of “Qiujan music”. But it was still really good on its own.
I started loving Qiujan’s album since ”Ritual To The Light”. Since then I searched a lot for this guy’s other songs in YouTube, I couldn’t find though. Finally I was on cloud nine to find him in SoundCloud. I liked his sneak peeks of Transformation, Cycle Of Five and Detached a long ago. I got myself aphonic when I suddenly came across through this album dropped with no notice. I’ve listened a fuckton of times ”Ritual To The Light” and it actually aroused my psyche and emotion always. I found it’s something magical than listening any other genre of songs. It has some mood changing dexterity. Then I searched this guy in social media to thank him for making an influence in my life. Thanks Qiujan! I’m from India, I must wanna see you performing at Goa soon!

You should really have to come soon. Even unprofessional artists shining out there with their crappy psytrance which’s a mix of several tracks and have no rhythm or balance. I hope I can attend your concert on Goa shortly.

By the way my friend Don’t wait for someone to invite you to goa, Just go there & play! If you want it you’ll get it. well some how the european scene of psy trance is very diffrent. It’s more fullon But in goa i don’t know for whatever reason the scene is getting darker & we need people who make a change in that vibe. & also there are many people whom are in love with psytrance & can’t come to europe because of their passport or expenses. So give it a shot please
