After listening to a lot of Psytrance, the typical intro with an expected forthcoming beat gets old after a while. I am always searching for that extra bit of spice to be added, craving a different mixture of heart throbbing ambience to start the mood. First impressions are sometimes very important, especially for an album meant to introduce doors of opportunity, opportunities that can lead listeners into a very rewarding journey. Romeodark – Shadeflower will delight any psychedelic enthusiast, building a series of wonderful tones and a mixture of light and dark to bring you a slowly building forest sound set. The beat keeps coming and going, accompanied by constantly changing, yet harmonic paces. It is easy to get lost in the music, and it will make you smile with a nice touch of euphoria. True forest is learned from experience rather than definition, as described by Ektoplazm. It has taken me a while to truly understand what that means, but this album has helped me understand that its more than the BPM and music theory. It has to do with the journey. Its about how you can close your eyes and climb through every dark and light corner of your mind as the vibrations in your ears twist and turn your reality into a deep, subconscious self-realization. It can take a while for this to happen, but this album is a definite must for anyone searching for this. I can feel myself growing to understand more and feel more. It opens minds.
The composition is extremely unique. There is more than just dark beat patterns. There are melodies passing through every minute, offering a multitude of emotions and expressions. From the artist, in my perspective, I can feel his travels through depression. Walking through snow, staring into seemingly nothingness while trying to search for hope, only to find confusion and chaos. It is almost as if he is begging for others to listen and feel what he is. What words can not describe, his music can embrace. It is certainly up to the listener to interrupt what all of it means, but the great thing is it can mean anything. All in all, it simply causes you to feel… well, anything. The artist plants a seed into our minds, and then it explodes into a pretty awesome creation.
Diversity at its finest is sewn into every stitch, neatly putting together a colorful and complex organism. This singularity, this album, is one of those “top of the charts” but “underrated masterpieces” that you have got to slow down and experience. Every piece is vastly different from one another, ranging from 150BPM to 200BPM. when Jellyfish Recordings say his style is like no other, they really do mean it. Alright man ;) I understand what you mean. It is more of an expression into a dream fulfilled for you. Criticism would only be opinionated, and if you have completed your journey then no criticism is needed. Keep doing what you do and never stop. It is great music, and the review is definitely nothing but compliments because I felt what you did. Very emotional album. I feel your purpose is to express your journey into music so others can feel it as well.

If you are curious about it how the music came into existence then I can say it that : I tried to accomplish it what I believed … I practised. and those feelings are in him what the life gives to me …something like this … up and down..slow fast …:)
Well,, I can’t match the marvelous review above except to say that I agree with it. I like this very much. Creative, intelligent, imaginative. Unlike many artists I can think of, the tracks do not all sound pretty much the same. I have three other tracks by him on other compilations, and I heard the unique creativity there as well. So I definitely grabbed this album as soon as I heard about it. I only wish some of the tracks were longer, but that is up to him to decide. Excellent work and looking forward to what he does next.

Definitely of the most creative and sophisticated psychedelic achievements ever devised. This whole ‘darkpsy’ thing has become so far reaching and cerebral, this music is an intersection of an almost unbearable number of dimensions and ideas, dense in the extreme. Listening to this on headphones I can literally see a corridor/pathway moving over me, ever rotating, its borders endlessly shifting with alternating machinery and flora. 5/5

“I wonder why you can always explore new sounds in the music ? And why you can not know what sound occurs , even though the people are listening to it repeatedly , over and over again ?
I think perhaps it may be because they are not consciously constructed music, but mostly a kind of experimental improvisational nature , by which the creative spirit , a special intuition guiding principle of the author’s innermost being , might arise from the subconscious mind !
These pieces of music actually called ” random ” ( if it exists at all any) or, if you will, the fate made … through me .
All of these tunes is a kind of ” altered state ” formed when some sort of spontaneous open relationship between the artist and the Universe .
These are some inspired moments of inexplicable , and as a channel through a kind of flow -mediated enegia the feelings and moods of the resulting pop-up notes . Like a musical mandala : unrepeatable improvisation !
