Drumlore takes it down a notch with this deep and mellow release from Südpol. Urwerk is a low-slung ambient track with eerie ambience accompanied by a rewerked dub mix from Søren Nordström. Patagonien is a dubbed-out, 90s-influenced, minimal techno track slipping through effect soundscapes as the track evolves. Overall, it’s a repetition of pretty well-known tracks, which in this particular genre is not a job well done.
I fully listened to this “release” two time and have to say that I’ve never heared something empty like this.

I think people are overreacting to the minimalism of this release. I’ve heard far emptier and more skeletal minimal 12″s, in spades. The production on this is nice, IMO. big low end, round, nicely filtered, you can turn it up very loud without ear fatigue
