Supersillyus unveils his new record, Interabang, his first official release since the critically acclaimed Tessellations. This 5-track sonic adventure clocks in at just over 45 minutes of aural pleasure, reaching deep into the depths of consciousness to unfold with dramatic story arcs, non-standard time signatures, unexpected twists and turns, conflicts, and resolutions. Interabang (or interrobang) is a forgotten form of punctuation combining the question mark and the exclamation point to denote something that is extremely exciting yet intriguingly confusing. This is the true nature of the term “psychedelic” and the reason why they call it a “trip”: you’re supposed to go somewhere else, somewhere you’ve never been before.
