Darwin is the second full-length instalment from Zeitgeist, an experimental electronic music project founded by Robert Hundt, also known as Radioactive.Cake, the founder of Glitchy.Tonic.Records. Building on the success of Spirit Of The Age and The Century Of Sins, both released in 2010, Zeitgeist has reached a new level of artistic maturity and clarity of vision with this conceptually cohesive album. Expect to hear an irresistible blend of many different styles of music ranging from trance, techno, and dubstep to jazz and funk, all whipped into a frothy fusion of minimal psychedelia that will alter your sense of reality with disarming ease. intriguing concept album with equally intriguing sounds/ intelligent selection and deployment of vocal samples and a compelling rhythm stick beating my arse raw. And just when i though i’d heard enough Bill Hicks, i was reminded here that I cant get enough of the mystic comic on the title track – great track, as Psychedelics And The Really Real Reality is really really good.

This album is a fucking MASTERPIECE. He was able to merge psy-goa, minimal and electro groovies in a way nobody else would do. Congratsssss!!! ^^
To be honest I had never heard anything by you before downloading this album purely on the sole basis of the title.
I was pleasantly surprised when I listened to this album, the production is top notch and the deep brooding grooves and atmospheres kept me completely engaged for the entire album. I don’t usually drop comments like this but you have shot into my top 5 for trance/minimal artists almost instantaneously. Keep up the amazing work and I look forward to seeing more releases under the moniker of Zeitgeist.
