Crossing Mind is a respected Goa trance producer based in the southern Alps above Nice, France. This year he will be playing at Boom Festival 2016 at the Dance Temple stage on August 14th, 15:00, between Tsuyoshi Suzuki and Filteria. To give you a taste of what this man can deliver on stage Suntrip Records released this live performance from their 10th birthday party in Antwerp, Belgium, on April 30th, 2014. It contains eight live edits of released tracks, and two early versions of tracks from his forthcoming album, Beyond Duality, to be released on Suntrip in September 2016. Crossing Mind’s live gear is unusual: he plays with a tablet plugged to an external sound card and running a bunch of audio apps. It blows my mind away!
Listening to Goa for about 20 years and never thought that there will be a Band/Musician which is equal to the quality that the Etnica clique delivered between 94 and 97.
And then came 2012 where Suntrip Records released Crossing Minds “The Inner Shift” and I couldn`t believe what I heard on this Album.
Since then I gave it around 200 listenings and for me it`s for sure the best Goa release I ever heard.
Nearly all Crossing Mind tracks are great and some are out of this world (Optronic Circles,No way wrong(2011 Mix),Infinity of lifes,The unenlightened perspectives,Out of time).
On this live compilation you`ll find a nice selection from his different releases including 2 new ones that will be released on Suntrip in September 2016.
Not his best work but far better than anything else.
