Brazilian label Padang Records returns with another dark gem from the depths of space: Nibiru. As with their previous release, Barong & Garuda, the style is darkly tilted toward minimalistic and progressive psychedelic soundscapes. To set the mood, the label has provided this epigram:

“Far away from here there is a place where there is no time and there is no light, a dark infinity covering the whole atmosphere. On this dark body there is a place where the natives hide themselves and conspire in silence for the usurpation. It will be hard to find them, for nobody has ever seen them. They work during the night, acting directly when you are careless, a deadly carelessness. They are out there, patiently waiting for you to close your eyes for the last time, and join them in this deep dark sea.”

Compilation and artwork by Vurdel with mastering by Dienstmann.

We’re living at the age where a few companies are about to have total control over our water, food, raw materials, production, even ourselves. Wars, oppression, human exploitation, unemployment, poverty and natural disasters give us all the feeling that this bubble is about to explode! Could mankind be so stupid to destroy itself? Will our times come to be called by future generations as the Age Of Apocalypse? After participating in a killer birthday party for Noizhartt this group of artists decided to share some of their finest tunes with those of us still standing. Experimental, fast, and aggressive, this compilation is a call for struggle against the darkest premonitions of what’s coming next for our world. Compiled by Noizhartt, artwork by Foundinaforest, mastered by Nik Mar @ Pupsidelic Media, Greece, produced by Jyro, and released by Badgers Records. Special thanks to all artists for their awesome music, Noizhartt for selecting those killers, Foundinaforest for her awesome artwork, and of course all you Badgers for your support. You know who you are! Cannibals enjoy.
