Local Travelling is the first compilation from Luk-Si Records, a new psytrance label based in the Czech Republic. Compiled by DJ Newteck, this release features an exclusive line-up of underground Czech producers mixing old school and modern techniques. The focus is mainly on melody and hypnosis, drawing the listener in with a glimmer of the unknown, but the label’s commitment to diversity in sound also shines through. Mastered by Michal Schwa at ORM Studio Prague with artwork by B#art.

Well, I’m going to be first here.
I’m very curious about how things going at the Czech music scene and I’m happy to see it represented here on Ektoplazm as a label. First compilation didn’t touched me deeply, but some tracks are quite interesting. So I hope it’s going to be more interesting and more quality music at the future ;)

Perhaps this is going to sound harsh, but I feel I need to say it. For most of them, half of the song is great, but the other half just does not quite do it.
