The first track’s ending is hurting my ears with its abrupt cutting. Is that normal ?

Tracks 1 & 5 are not to be missed. Very solid release, a lot of these tracks just get better with each listen. I can see “Digil Sippy” and “D Temp” becoming better and better over time.

  • Public Observer says:

c’mon Basilisk i have made the same kind of commentary in different releases and hey, u didn’t moderated something, just because i reckon Kupuri’s releases are far bellow the standard doesn’t mean is my fault that they feel offended. try to make “original ideas” and maybe that will impress me more!!! or what, is only allowed to say is good, and if it’s not i just have to keep my opinion for myself?

  • Low End says:

Hey public observer I think you are free to say whatever you want. but who are you to tell Basilisk which are the standars? Are you the managger of an amazing label or something like that? Do you make the best music or contribute in anyway on the scene? Because it sounds that you are just the kind of people who doesnt make anything productive and just criticises. If you don´t like the music, don´t download it. But I don´t think you are in the position to tell Basilisk how to make his job. If you know so much about these, why dont you make your own blog with your amazing standars? Big ups to Mr Basilisk for supporting so much new artist!

  • Basilisk says:

Both positive and negative comments are welcome around here but abuse is not. It isn’t hard to share a negative opinion in a constructive way… or at least in a way that isn’t likely to disrupt the discussion.

Anyway, I don’t like for these threads to get way off-topic (let’s talk about the music) so I may trash further replies along these lines. Anyone out there is welcome to contact me if they have a problem with the commenting and moderation policy.

This is an absolutely beautiful compilation, my number one this year. All of the tracks are very good at least, the future really looks bright for Kupuri if they keep this style up!

With that said, I have to honor Los Rastrillos and Mo & Chuk. The first track, the remix of “El Cadub” (which I do not know the original of), is an absolute masterpiece and my personal cross-genre track of the year. A big thank you for this one!

  • nymphomania says:

This is very good stuff, intelligent lucid and full of space, nothing too cheesy. Having just heard a Liquid Seed compilation directly before this, this one stood out as being less superficial. I enjoy the very slow relaxed dubs, and production quality is great. Listening to Saeg (one of my favorite artists)’s contribution now and no weak tracks so far! Nice IDM intricacy to it.

    i think this one is a 5/5
