Neogoa is proud to present Kolovrat, the long-awaited debut album by Croatian duo Lunar Dawn. Since the release of the Blessings From Irij single and remix album Lunar Dawn defined a fresh approach for new material inspired mainly by ancient and colorful Slavic folklore and mythology. Kolovrat has been crafted during a three year time frame and features 10 previously unreleased tracks including two collaborative works, one with the well-known Croatian ethno/neofolk band Svarica and another featuring Jasmina on vocals. Prepare yourself for a unique experience of Goa trance music made with the playfulness, emotive power, and passion typical of the Balkan peninsula! All tracks written and produced by Lunar Dawn (Kristijan Ilišinović and Saša Prečanica), Croatia. Live instruments on track #1 by Svarica; vocals on track #10 by Jasmina. Mastering by PsiloCybian (Croatia) with illustration by Arkadiy Tronets (Russia) and design by Richpa at Neogoa Design (Croatia).

It was only today I realized that the unrecognizable words in the song titles may be something searchable for. And then I realized EVERY song title had the name of a Slavic god. As I read about it I realize that Lunar Dawn simply PACKED this album with references. Not to mention that he’s also a musical genius.

Lunar Dawn… They were the first I encountered when I totally began to get closer to this website.
Lemme try to find words for this masterpiece of an album. I dont stick some honey on ya lips, this is just my opinion:
The instruments are classy, sweet and a nice texture for all tracks. The percussions are crazy! Just let yourself feel the energy of these hits from those drums or the bass,
follow these insane setted synths, totally gettin you invited to another journey, that you can do everytime you here this album.
My favourite one is ‘Metamorphosis Of Veles’, but feel free to get involved. Because this is really good psytrance.
